Local Manorites Mark and Kim Burkland have been hard at work transitioning from food truck owners to full-time restaurant owners. The couple started B&B BBQ food truck on Decker Lane off 290 in 2017. Since then, their popularity has risen as well as their need for more space. Earlier this year, the couple decided to take their dream of owning a restaurant and make it into a reality. In February, B&B BBQ and Cafe opened their doors at their new location in Webberville, Texas. With numerous cookoff awards under is belt, Pitmaster Mark has had over 30 years of bar-b quing experience- and his food proves it. When you arrive, you are greeted with a smile from Kim, who is manning the counter, while Mark works his magic in the back. You instantly feel like you are a part of the family. B&B definitely emulates the “  mom and pop” cafe to a tee. B&B offers daily specials that include their famous Brisket Meatloaf on Tuesdays, a must try even for non-meatloaf lovers. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can find your barbecue favorites including brisket, sausage, chicken, and ribs. Thursday’s special is a fully loaded brisket potato or loaded brisket nachos. If you are in the mood for something a bit different, they feature a fried catfish plate with all of the fixings on Fridays. The real MVP, however, is their hand ground brisket burgers. These burgers are what all burgers should aspire to be. Wash it down with blueberry cobbler and Bluebell va

nilla ice cream and you will find yourself in a food coma. B&B plans to expand the menu and is currently working on an outdoor patio. They hope to become a place that becomes a part of the community. “We are looking forward to giving great food with a friendly smile and hope you leave our cafe feeling like your part of the B&B family,” said Kim. B&B BBQ and Cafe is located at 19208 FM 969 Webberville, Texas. They are open Tuesday through Friday 6am-2pm then 5pm-7pm. On Saturday they are open at 8 am until they sell out.
